Supporting College-Bound Students

BEK acknowledges that students are a big part of the communities we serve. That’s why our we’ve been providing scholarships for college-bound students for more than 25 years.

If you are a BEK Cooperative member or BEK Fiber customer, or if you are the dependent of a member or customer, you may apply for one of the following scholarships:

Valley City State University - $1,250 - $2,500

Deadline: Feb. 14, 2025
For: Current or new students pursuing a technology-related degree

Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) - $1,500 - $7,000

Deadline: Feb. 14, 2025
For: Rural students entering their first year of college or vocational-technical school

BEK Scholarship - $500

Deadline: March 1, 2025
For: 2025 graduating seniors entering their first year of college

University of Mary - $1,250

Deadline: March 1, 2025
For: Current or new students pursuing a Mass Communications or Computer Information System (or similar) degree
