At BEK, we value students as an essential part of the communities we serve. For more than 25 years, we’ve been proud to support college-bound students through our scholarship opportunities.
If you’re a BEK Cooperative member, a BEK fiber customer, or a dependent of one, you’re eligible to apply for the following scholarships:
Valley City State University Scholarship
Amount: $1,250 - $2,500
Deadline: February 14, 2025
Eligibility: Current or new students pursuing a technology-related degree.
Foundation of Rural Service (FRS) Scholarship
Amount: $1,500 - $7,000
Deadline: February 14, 2025
Eligibility: Rural students entering their first year of college or vocational-technical school.
BEK Scholarship
Amount: $500
Deadline: March 1, 2025
Eligibility: Graduating seniors of 2025 entering their first year of college.
University of Mary Scholarship
Amount: $1,250
Deadline: March 1, 2025
Eligibility: Current or new students pursuing a degree in Mass Communications, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
